Community and Education

The loss of a loved one can be a sad and confusing time, which is why we believe in educating people as to the role of the Funeral Director in the community and the process undertaken during this difficult time.

It is essential that the people around you such as Police Officers, Ambulance Crew, Nurses, Doctors, Staff in care homes and many others who provide support at this time understand the process in order to support you fully.

Reaching out to the general public and the community with educational talks is a vital part of increasing peoples understanding and reducing the fear of the unknown.

Jonathan Whiting has given numerous talks to Nurses and Hospice staff, however any group or organisation that feels they would benefit from a visit and talk please do not hesitate to contact us.

The Funeral Director is the caretaker of the dead, caregiver to the bereaved and secular gatekeeper between the living and the dead.
